Easy and convenient to use

To start monitoring, place four electrodes on the patient’s head and press several buttons on the unit’s display. The user-friendly touch interface allows you to control the device without using the keyboard and mouse. The system is placed on the cart, which makes it easy to move the system.

A clinical application

In recent decades, survival of premature infants has increased. However, the neonatal population is still at great risk for many complications that can result from clinically significant neurological injuries, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, seizures, etc. These problems can, in turn, result in developmental delay and cerebral palsy. These circumstances indicate the need to monitor brain function in an ICU setting during this critical period. In addition to the diagnosis of abnormality, brain function monitoring (BFM) should be performed to assess the treatment process and the impact of corrective measures on central nervous system (CNS) maturation.

CFM is also important for term infants with minimal suspicion of abnormalities of brain function as a result of genetics or pregnancy/delivery complications to assess brain maturation and predict central nervous system abnormalities. Also brain function monitoring can be prescribed for adults during anesthesia and in resuscitation after cardiac arrest, status epilepticus during and after cardiac surgery, sometimes in comatose states to assess the status of the central nervous system.

Automatic selection of pathological profiles aEEG

In most severe central nervous system abnormalities, EEG and aEEG electrodes show a certain specific pattern. There are several types of aEEG patterns that can be easily differentiated and interpreted even by inexperienced technical personnel. In addition, the Neuromonitor software is able to detect most patterns automatically. Then, the detected pattern is classified and color-coded for easy verification.

Synchronous video recording

The video recording of an examination is performed synchronously with the EEG acquisition and the aEEG, ECG and SpO2 trend data. It can be used to make the exact diagnosis in complex cases where the visual interpretation of trends is ambiguous.

EEG system with more than 8 channels

In complex cases, Neuromonitor can easily be upgraded to a fully functional 8-channel EEG system for long-term video EEG monitoring, to record EEG, audio and video information, detect spikes, sharp waves, display maps, etc. 16, 32 and 64 channel amplifiers are available for future system upgrades.
